TRAFFIC ALERT FOR JUNE 18 DALLAS DESIRE GAME (click here for more details)

The main lanes of the Dallas North Tollway will be closed again this weekend between SH 121 and Spring Creek Parkway in Plano so NTTA can continue reconstructing a bridge. The tollway will close at 11:00 p.m. Friday night, June 17, and will remain closed throughout the weekend. The tollway will reopen by 5:00 a.m. Monday morning, June 20. The Dallas Parkway frontage roads will remain open during this time, but motorists should expect delays in the area and should consider taking an alternate route. See a map of the road closures and detour routes on the NTTA website: https://www.ntta.org/roadsprojects/projprog/Documents/TennysonFlyer.pdf During this closure, southbound traffic on the Dallas North Tollway will be forced to take the fly-over ramp that leads to the main lanes of the Sam Rayburn Tollway or take the exit ramp that leads to the southbound Dallas Parkway frontage road at SH 121 in Frisco. Northbound traffic on the Dallas North Tollway will be forced to exit onto the northbound Dallas Parkway frontage road at Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Motorists on the main lanes of the Sam Rayburn Tollway who want to go south on the Dallas North Tollway will have to exit onto the SH 121 frontage road in order to turn south onto the Dallas Parkway frontage road. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to seek an alternate route in advance.
